Despite the fact that they won 100 games the previous season and consistently compete for a spot in the postseason, they currently have a value of +1200 to win the American League this year.
The Rays are currently in a position to make the playoffs, and they are on track to win more than 85 games this season, so they should advance. These odds do not respect Tampa Bay’s chances of beating New York and Houston when it matters the most, despite the fact that the Rays’ performance will need to be slightly improved.
